HYROX 2026 Season: 80+ Cities Confirmed Worldwide
HYROX has announced its most ambitious season yet, with events confirmed in over 80 cities across six continents. The 2026 calendar features new venues in Asia and South America.
HYROX has unveiled its 2026 global calendar, confirming events in more than 80 cities worldwide — a significant expansion from the previous season. The announcement cements HYROX's position as the world's largest mass-participation fitness race series, with over 550,000 athletes expected to compete throughout the year.
The 2026 season introduces several new host cities, including São Paulo, Tokyo, and Cape Town, expanding HYROX's footprint into South America, Asia, and Africa. European strongholds like Berlin, London, and Barcelona remain anchor events, while the North American circuit continues to grow with additions in Austin, Montreal, and Seattle.
Registration data from early-opening events shows record demand. HYROX Madrid sold out within 48 hours of opening, while London and Berlin followed shortly after. The organization has responded by adding second-day events in several high-demand cities.
"The growth we're seeing is unprecedented in the fitness industry," said HYROX CEO Christian Toetzke. "Athletes are drawn to the standardized format — whether you race in Málaga or Melbourne, the course is identical, creating a truly global competitive platform."
The season culminates with the HYROX World Championship in Nice, France, on June 20, where top qualifiers from around the globe will compete for the title of World's Fittest.
